We are proud that our employees can benefit from a rare benefit: No public holiday is lost. Even if it falls on a weekend.
Sodexo Switzerland employees enjoy 10 public holidays off per year. If a public holiday falls on the weekend, it can be used as a day off on any working day.

In addition to these 10 days, the afternoon of 24 December is always work-free. This makes a total of 10.5 days that our employees can enjoy.

Maternity & paternity leave - better paid

The Sodexo Group has launched an initiative to improve family.
As of 2024 Sodexo will pay the 14-week maternity leave and the two-week paternity leave at 100% salary. The two extra weeks of maternity leave will continue to be paid at 80% of salary.

Since the adjustment of our staff regulations, we have been providing various additional benefits that go beyond the standard.
For the benefit of our employees, we have adjusted various benefits regarding daily sickness benefits and private absences upwards, so that they are in part above the industry-standard guidelines.

Smart mediaton

Employees who refer new employees to Sodexo benefit from a generous bonus.
If Sodexo Switzerland employees recommend someone from their circle of friends or acquaintances for an advertised position, the person making the recommendation receives a three- to four-figure bonus or additional days of holiday as a thank you.

Better insured

Sodexo Switzerland has negotiated with well-known insurance companies and discounts for employees.
Sodexo Switzerland employees can take out supplementary insurance for themselves and their dependents at reduced rates with various health insurance companies. This also applies to household contents, motor vehicle, legal protection and life insurance. They also benefit from discounts if they wish to take out semi-private or private accident insurance.

At Sodexo Switzerland, employees are insured for retirement at a higher level than required by law.
In recent years, all employees have benefited from very high interest rates on the entire pension fund capital. In addition, Sodexo has taken out higher risk insurance in the event of illness, accident and death.

Our employees receive fleet discounts as well as discounts at various petrol stations.
Thanks to the fleet discounts negotiated by Sodexo Switzerland, employees benefit from different discounts on various brands and partners. They also receive discounts on the fuel they fill up or on vehicle cleaning at various petrol stations.

Sodexo employees receive a discount on their fitness subscription.
For our employees, we have negotiated a discount on a yearly fitness subscription at a widespread fitness centre for physical compensation.
